Prohlášení ke konání 40. ročníku Mistrovství Evropy Ecce Homo Šternberk

Milí příznivci závodu Ecce Homo Šternberk,

jsme si vědomi toho, že byste rádi věděli nějaké informace o našem šternberském závodě. Je nám smutno z toho, že přišlo něco, co náš závod může ohrozit. Samozřejmě zdraví všech jezdců, diváků, pořadatelů a dalších, je na prvním místě a podle toho se také budeme řídit. 

S jistotou můžeme oznámit, že z důvodu šíření koronaviru, se první víkend v červnu, tedy 5. - 7. 6. 2020, Ecce Homo neuskuteční. Vzhledem ke všem nařízením vlády a vzhledem k bezpečnosti nás všech, není možné závod uspořádat. Zároveň s tím se nebude konat ani doprovodný program na náměstí, Město v pohybu.

Ta lepší zpráva je, že nechceme pro letošní rok závod zrušit, ale prozatím odložit. Pokud to bude jen trochu možné a reálné, stanovíme jiné, pozdější datum pro uspořádání Ecce Homo.

Toto ale záleží na nařízení, která budou dále vydaná. Vzhledem k omezenému počtu osob na akcích je šance spíše malá. 

Nevzdáváme se. Budeme bojovat, aby dlouholetá tradice závodu nebyla přerušena, ale pouze pod podmínkou, že by to bylo v souladu s ochranou zdraví všech dotčených.

Organizers' announcement on the 40th European Championship EH Šternberk event

Dear supporters of the Ecce Homo Šternberk race,

We are aware of the fact that you would like to know some information about our Šternberk race. We are sad that something has interrupted our plans to hold the event this year. Of course, the health of all racers, spectators, organizers and others is our priority and we will follow accordingly:

We can say with certainty that due to the spread of coronavirus, the first weekend in June, i.e. from 5 to 7 June 2020, Ecce Homo race will not take place. Due to all government regulations regarding coronavirus and due to the safety of all of us, it is not possible to organize the race. This also applies to accompanying program in the square "City in motion".

The better news is that we do not want to cancel the race for this year, we would like to postpone it for now. If it is possible or realistic, we will set a later date for the Ecce Homo event. However, this depends on the regulations that will be issued later. Due to the limited number of people at the events, the chances are rather small but we are not giving up. We will fight to ensure that the long tradition of the race is not interrupted, but only on the condition that it is in accordance with the protection of the health of all concerned.
